Clinical supervision

As a clinician, I know the value of good clinical supervision. Over the course of my career so far, I have been lucky enough to attend supervision with some incredible clinicians. These experiences taught me so much, and helped me to see that good supervision can elevate your practice and allow you and your clients to get the most out of therapy.

In my sessions with supervisees, I try to emulate the qualities of supervision that I have found most helpful. I strive to offer a space that feels safe, friendly and meets the supervisee where they are. I want you to be able to be honest and bring your whole self to our sessions. There is no such thing as a stupid question in supervision; I have learned as much from my supervisees as I have from my other clinical experiences. In clinical supervision, I aim to "practice what I preach" by modelling the skills in psychological flexibility that we teach our clients so that these can be part of the supervisory process.

I find that I work best with therapists who use CBT, ACT and third wave approaches as their primary therapeutic modalities.
